Audience Feedback

by Patti on 12/05/16

It’s very gratifying to speak with our audience members after the shows and hear their compliments.  Folks are loving Sadko’s Song, and you have until December 18th to catch it, so make your reservations now as shows are filling up!

Here is what people are saying:

“Who knew so much magic could fit in such a small space?”

“I don’t understand how you do it.  We’ve paid a lot of money over the years to take our children to shows and this is the best thing we’ve ever seen.”

“When is the next one, Mom?  I want to come back!”

“This was such a special story.  In a world where many don’t seem to value the arts anymore it’s important for people to hear this.  There is still validity in following your dreams.  Fulfilment can be found in something other than objects.”

“This is my favorite activity for our family.  We’re going to keep coming again and again.”

“The BiTSY Stage does it again!  Sadko’s Song has been my favorite production yet.  Incredible set, cast, music, and storytelling.  It has been such a joy to experience these productions with all three of my kiddos.  We look forward to each one.”

Meet the Critter Cast of Sadko's Song

by Patti on 11/05/16

We'd like to introduce you to the first of our Animal Actors.  In addition to having a lovely group of humans to round out our Sadko company, we're fortune enough to have found some sea creatures from a local school.  Check out the first two bios below.  To meet our peoples, click on the Sadko link for their stories.

Sheldon Swifty (Turtle): Sheldon is so glad he found the theater in high school; it really helped him come out of his shell.  A musical man at heart, past shows include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Cod, GypSea, Jesus Christ Super Starfish, and The Lion King Crab.  Having spent some time on the west coast, he has had small cameos in the movies Turtle Recall, The Codfather, and Silence of the Clams.  An avid chef, he loves making meals in his slow cooker.

Whoopi Goldfish (Bluefish): Whoopi grew up very whale off and didn’t have to work, so she joined a local drama club just for the halibut.  They were doing a production of The King Prawn and I and after the first night she got to perform “Shell We Dance” she was hooked!  She feels a little gill-ty leaving her eggs at home to pursue her dream but she has no trout that this will benefit her family in the long run.  When they are all together they enjoy dive-in movies.

We provide high quality, FREE theatrical productions for the whole family. Our adaptations of international folktales celebrate the things we all have in common while exploring the differences that make our world so rich.
